Six Dollar Man Vinyl Pre-Order Results

The Six Dollar Man

Dear Valued Vinyl Collectors,

"Vinyl is, and always will be, dear to our hearts but with each passing day more vinyl consumers are dropping off radar."

We regret to inform that the vinyl pressing offer presented with "The Six Dollar Man" digital album release has not met its minimum requirement to warrant vinyl pressing. Our efforts to sustain the relativity of record pressing goes above and beyond as demonstrated by our marketing and promotion strategies. The creative team at Debonaire Records forges concepts to grant DJ's and vinyl collectors their wishes though it is not matched with equal enthusiasm thus illustrating the lack of interest in a vinyl medium at this time.

As a result of the release of "The Six Dollar Man" album, we have conducted our own market research and have concluded that the cost to benefit ratio of manufacturing records for a handful of collectors is not plausible for this release. Although disappointing for us, and for those customers that pre-ordered, this announcement does not dampen "The Six Dollar Man" album release which has surprisingly surpassed our expectations. We have witnessed an increase in digital interest in comparison to previous releases in part due to the prevalence and accessibility of music-enabled smartphones and streaming entertainment services. Digital content continues to gain strength in many new countries. This is good news and will assert future releases from Debonaire Records.

We thank all of you who support Debonaire Records and its artists. We look forward to the next episode.

The Six Dollar Man

Debonaire:
"The Six Dollar Man"
Review by Nexus 6

The long awaited follow up to "Execute: Self Extraction"! Three years after his mighty opus, the U.S. producer has returned into the trenches to deliver a fresh and imaginative album for 2013. As a label owner who celebrates 26 years of his recognized and respected Debonaire Records, Inc., Claudio Barrella knows exactly the formula and how to rock the crowds at clubs. Inspired by his collectable toys arsenal, the new "The Six Dollar Man" release, infamous Miami based artist applies his unique savoir-faire into 12 untouchable tracks, putting together all the music components to fire the dancefloor and invite you on a no return trip through uncompromising music. Surrounded by old school flavored electro, this collection of next-level material brings massive beats under the strobe light throughout, injecting some serious 70's-80's era bits and pieces, impeccable samples, untouchable 808 programming, and intense cyber vocals. In overture of the digital pack, the title track "The Six Dollar Man" serves up an impressive piece of funk, giving a funny wink to Colonel Steve Austin thanks to excerpts taken from the cult "The Six Million Dollar Man" 70's TV series. For connoisseurs only!

This Ain't The Bass That Ate Miami

In the not so distant past a small sleepy backwater town known as Miami had a music scene that was held hostage by the old stale and corrupt powers that be. The nature of Quad however has a way of correcting itself and to restore the natural order of things. It released a force beyond the comprehension of the ruling class with an idea too powerful to reckon with. It descended upon the town eating its way through the graft ridden networks ushering in a "Boom" heard around the word, that force was known as "The Bass That Ate Miami".

In time however the era that it ushered in faded away to many of the same problems that beset it's predecessor, however as stated before, things have a way of balancing themselves out and in the wake of the tired old sonic formulas (recycled millions times over and over) a new force has arisen to take its place as a creative arsonist and for sure this "new force" ain't the bass that ate Miami it's the Bass that rocks the world!"

This Ain't The Bass That Ate Miami: a contemporary, re-imagined version that pays homage to the classic song titles while dropping them into an experimental Electro-Glitch-House-Hop-Trap setting.
